Welcome To Montana is classified somewhere between a micro and a small. The experienced Cacher should pick up the clue right away. For the novice, relax and enjoy the view of Chief Mountain (Nin-Na-Stako) while you search. Behind the tall fence is the Double T Bison Ranch. If you are lucky enough, there may be a herd in the front range pasture. DO NOT climb the fence for a close-up photo! These are not pets and Bison are not are not the friendliest creatures AND the Double T is private property. Room for small trade items. Because of the view, and busy border crossing,this may be a high muggle area in the Summer months so beware! Please return the cache the same way it was found. Have fun! CITO! IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The border crossing of PIEGAN / CARWAY is open all year; however it closes each night at precisely 11:00pm. It will reopen at 7:00am. If you miss the 11:00 gate closing, the nearest 24/7 border crossing is Sweetgrass / Coutts, about 150 miles away (N of Shelby, MT). Chief Mountain border crossing is only open in the summer months and as well closes precisely at 11:00pm, opening at 7:00am. You will need a passport to cross the border. Geocaching is not a good excuse to miss the chance to cross the border before closing so please keep an eye on the time. small container so log only, byop, room for XS trade items.
