The Mali Alan (1044m) is a mountain pass leading from the D54 in round about 14 Kilometers up to the Mountain top of Tulove Grede. Traveling the pass brings you to places with spectacular views over the mountains of Velebit and the seaside. Only asphalted half way, the pass is quite sophisticated to travel.

The road, viewpoints and the Cache locations are safe, but as a relict from the war in ex Yugoslavia there are still landmines beside the roads, so everyone is asked not to leave the ways! Everyone caches on own risk and no Cache in the world is worth it to risk life!!

The Mali Alan is quite famous for the Karl May films. Lots of film scenes were shot in different parts of the pass – no wondering, the pass is very beautiful.
So welcome to Mali Alan, have fun!
