On our way to Flat Rock we saw this rock formation, and thought it would be a great place for a cache, with a nice view across to Congewai as well. Once at GZ the view was found to be a bit obscured by trees, but is there - just peer through the branches!
We drove into the State Forest from Hayes Rd Millfield, and had no issues in our AWD/SUV (Forester) - some sections of road are pretty rocky, but ruts are pretty shallow by local standards. You can pull up on the side about 50m from GZ, we had a 3 year old with us today, and were OK - there is a pretty steep slope at GZ, but easily avoided. You don't need to trek down the slope to find the cache....
Cache is a 1L sistema.
