Geocache Description:



Another in the very popular series of Church Micros started by Sadexploration.

St. George’s Church
The original church was built on the site of a temporary chapel of 1871. It was damaged by fire in 1976 and repaired although structural problems appeared and the building was eventually demolished in 1999. This church was built in 2003/04 and incorporates the rose window from the old church. Other stained glass from the previous church was retained but sadly went missing.


Parking is available in nearby streets and it is close to bus stops.

The cache is a micro.
