The Route
The route length is around 2 km. It’s suitable for easy walking, biking or driving.
- Step 1 – The Painter (N 43° 30.836 E 016° 26.165)
Emanuel Božidar Vidović was a painter and graphic artist from Split. He was instrumental in bringing the modern art ideas to Split. In Split and the surrounding area Vidović made many studies and sketches in plein-air, working with bright colours in the live landscape.

- Step 2 – The Museum (N 43° 30.952 E 016° 26.121)
Founded in 1820, the Archaeological Museum in Split is the oldest Museum in Croatia. It has a large stock of archaeological objects from prehistoric times, from the period of the Greek colonization of the Adriatic and from the Roman, Early Christian and early Medieval ages.

- Step 3 – The Player (N 43° 31.227 E 016° 25.824)
Bernard Vukas, also known as Badjo, was a famous Croatian football player. He is mostly remembered for his extraordinary dribbling ability. In 2000, he was voted as the best Croatian player of all time.
This Step is located just near Stadion Poljud. The stadium was built for the 1979 Mediterranean Games and is the home venue of the Hajduk Split football club.

- Step 4 – The Monastery (N 43° 31.301 E 016° 25.731)
The beautiful historic Franciscan Monastery of St. Ante is located near the sheltered and shallow Kaštela bay. It is surrounded by peaceful orchards and vineyards.

The geocache is a small box containing a logbook, a pen and a few cute swappables.

Note: You might find a flag hidden in the wall around GZ. It is not related to the cache. It is the Vatican flag, and I think it was placed there for religious purposes. Please don't remove it from it's hide.
The Area
A few additional points of interest around the cache location:
- The bay: the bay, shipyard and marina are just a short walk from the route.
- Park Mladosti: A green forest, with huge rocks and beautiful panoramic view. Very near to the cache location (Waypoint provided)
- Plodine: a big and nice supermarket, just across the street. A nice visit for supermarkets fans.
