Matija Ljubek (22. studenog, 1953. – 11. listopada 2000.) bio je najtrofejniji hrvatski kanuist i jedan od najuspješnijih hrvatskih sportaša uopće. Svoje treninge odrađivao je u kajak klubu Belišće. Blistave trenutke karijere doživio je osvajanjem dvaju zlatnih te po jedne srebrne i brončane Olimpijske medalje, čime je zasluženo dobio titulu najuspješnijeg muškog hrvatskog olimpijca u pojedinačnim sportovima svih vremena.
Mjesto gdje je cache sakriven vam pokazuje tzv. obalu Matije Ljubeka. Zapravo se radi o velikoj bari koja je prokopana s razlogom da Matija Ljubek ima gdje trenirati za lošijeg vremena. Sada ta bara služi kao oteretni dio za vodu kada vodostaj Drave naraste. Put na bentu gdje je i sakriven geocache je ujedno i početak staze Belišćanskog podravskog pješačkog puta.

Matija Ljubek (born 22nd of November 1953 , died in October 11th, 2000) was the most successful Croatian canoeist and one of the most successful Croatian athletes in general. He spent his training days kayak club Belišće. Best moments of his career was winning two gold , one silver and one bronze Olympic medals, when he deserved the title of the most successful male Croatian Olympian in the individual sports of all time.
The place where the cache is hidden shows the so-called coast of Matija Ljubek. In fact there is a large pond that is dug for Matija Lubek where he trained during the high water level on river Drava. Now, this pond serves like a backup plan when water level of the Drava increases. The trail where the cache is hidden is also the trailhead of pedestrian route called "Belišćanski podravski pješački put".
