The cache is hidden close to the boat shed of the Loch Lomond Rescue Boat. The rescue boat is part of the 999 cover in the area, and recently won the prestigious Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
Please be careful when exploring the area, as the winch cables lie across the slipway in front of the boat shed, and could trip the unwary. Also, apply common sense and keep out of the way if the doors are open, wherever the boat might be! If it's just training, the guys are usually happy to answer questions.
This cache adds another possible 'find' the circuit around Luss, and is perhaps best done as part of the lovely wee walk round the quarry, by the river and then along the loch, from the main carpark. Please be very careful removing and replacing it, and make sure it is the right way up! It is 'findable' by a child or smaller person with a wee leg-up, or by someone who is 5'6" or taller!!
