We will meet at 8:45 am at the parking area.
The volunteer project will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 12 p.m.
There are many geocaches in this park. In order to give back to the park, we will be doing trail maintenance at Halpatiokee Regional Park.
The trails need to be trimmed back. There are about 4 miles of trails that need trimming...not that we are expected to get it all done, but whatever we do is appreciated.
We will receive instruction on what to trim prior to starting. All vegetation will be left onsite - no packing it out.
It is recommended to bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses. Bring plenty of water!!!! Snacks will be available. Also, please bring work gloves, loppers and pruners, if you have them.
