Glencoe quarry is not used as a quarry anymore, but it used by many climbers to practise their craft. I first met this quarry when I was taught some of the skills neccesary to be able to absail. At the highest point its only 18m but it is a perfect spot for training. I have spend many hour here and have enabled a few novice absailer to conquer their fear and achive the satisfaction of having done it.
In order to get the waypoints an 18m abseil is required - about 5m from the top, stop and find some numbers and then continue down until you are about 7 m from the ground and find some more numbers. Using those numbers will lead you to the final. The numbers are clearly visible and are in obvious cracks - see spoiler photos.
Please remember this is a extreme cache and must be done at your own risk.
Once you have mastered this there are bigger challenges to conquer. Enjoy the experience.
