Diesen Geocache haben wir für den Event im Schnee 2016 – GC685DM – gelegt.
Das Pitztal ist ein etwa 40 km langes, südliches Seitental des Inntals, das bei Imst abzweigt. Es liegt im Bezirk Imst des Bundeslandes Tirol in Österreich. Das Tal wird von der Pitze (auch Pitzbach genannt) durchflossen. (Quelle: Wikipedia.de)
Der Cache
Die Pitztaler Schihütte erreicht ihr über einen kurzen Steig vom Parkplatz des Gletscherexpress in gut 10 Minuten. Der Cache ist wind- und wettergeschützt, ihr werdet ihn sicher gleich finden. Die Schihütte hat täglich ab 10 Uhr geöffnet (auch im Sommer!), es gibt keinen Ruhetag. Der Cache liegt etwas abseits in der Nähe des Holzkreuzes. Im Winter liegt im Windfang gleich nach dem Eingang links eine größere Box mit Geocaching-Logo, in der ihr Trackables und Trade tauschen könnt. ACHTUNG: Diese Dose ist nur während der Wintersaison vor Ort. Viel Spass!

The cache
You'll reach the "Pitztaler Schihütte" via a short but steep trail in less than 15 minutes. The lodge is open every day from 10am (even in summer!). You'll find the cache near the wooden cross besides the ski hut. In winter, there's a second "regular"-sized box inside of the ski hut, just left of the entrance. If you have troubles in finding it, don't hesitate to ask. Please be aware, that this second box is there ONLY IN WINTER. Have fun!
