Route 66 Traditional Geocache

A unique tourist attraction representing bygone days.

Placed for the 2016 Mid-Winter Geocaching Get-Together.

Due to vandalism at the original GZ, this cache is being turned in to a multicache to dissuade those who are too lazy to figure it out and feel they need to break in to something. Cache is not at listed coordinates, they will be just a starting point.

This nostalgic representation of what might have been seen in small town America along U.S. Route 66 before the interstate highway system replaced it was created by a long time seasonal resident. It was recently donated to the village and moved from the owner's camp on the south side of Lake Pleasant and is now available for the public to enjoy.
