Tento trail je inspirován procházkami nelahozeveského lékaře F. X. A. Stelziga v okolí Nelahozevsi a Lešan v době, kdy pobýval na zámku v Nelahozevsi.
Franciscus Xav. Alois Stelzig (občas uváděn jako Franz Alois Stelzig, případně i Stelzich) se narodil 12. května 1783 v Hošťce u Roudnice nad Labem a zemřel 19. listopadu 1856 v Praze.
Studoval pražskou lékařskou fakultu a současně se zajímal i o další obory lidské činnosti. V roce 1812 se stal magistrem chirurgie a v roce 1815 byl promován doktorem medicíny a chirurgie (disertační práce – „Dissertatio inauguralis medica De hydrothorace nec non paracentesi pectoris“, vydáno 1815).
Po ukončení vysoké školy se věnoval i odborně literární činnosti – statistika, porodnost, medicína a další, např.:
- politická aritmetika - dvoudílná publikace „Versuch einer medizinischen Topographie von Prag“ (vydal Johann Gottfried Calve v Praze v roce 1824) – jedna z nejdůležitějších publikací medicínské topografie tehdejší doby a statisticky zaměřené „Geschichtlich-statistische Darstellung der Cholera in Prag“ (vydavatelství J. G. Calve v roce 1833),
- demografické údaje – na základě své statě „Resultate der Geburts und Sterbeverhältnisse“ otištěné v roce 1830 v Muzejníku (Časopis Českého musea) sestavil první úmrtnostní tabulky pro Čechy za období let 1800 až 1828
- na různých úrovních vysvětluje i princip různých druhů životního pojištění, doživotních rent, tontin, vdovských, sirotčích a dalších zaopatřovacích institucí a pojednává o užití některých ukazatelů úmrtnostních tabulek i dalších statistických metod pro činnost těchto institucí.
Od roku 1820 působil jako městský ranlékař (zastaralý pojem, znamenající současně anatoma a chirurga) Horního Nového Města v Praze.
Již od roku 1824 působil i jako staroměstský fyzik.
V průběhu dalších let působil v Praze jako policejní a jako soudní lékař.
Po roce 1848 (ošetřování raněných ze svatodušních bouří) získal dokonce i četné občanství hlavního města Českého království, Prahy.
Za zmínku stojí i pokus o záchranu života hraběte Kinského, nebo realizovaný návrh parku u zámku Nelahozeves.

This trail is inspired by the walks that doctor F. X. A. Stelzig from Nelahozeves, took in Nelahozeves sorroundings and around the village of Lešany during the time he was residing in Nelahozeves castle.
Francius Xav. Alois Stelzig(sometimes known as Franz Alois Stelzig, and eventually Stelzich) was born on the 12th of May 1783 in Hošťka, Roudnice nad Labem, and died on the 19th of November 1856 in Prague.
He studied at the Prague Medical Faculty and was also interested in other fields of human activity. In 1812 he became Master of Surgery, and in 1815 he graduated as a doctor of medicine and surgery(his dissertation – “inauguralis Dissertatio medica De hydrothorace nec non paracentesi pectoris” was published in 1815).
After finishing high school, he also engaged in proffesional literary activities - eg writing statistics: birth, medical etc.:
- political arithmetic – two-part publication „Versuch einer medizinischen Topographie von Prag“ (published by Johann Gottfried Calve in Prague in 1824) – one of the most important publications of the medical topography of the time, and the statistically oriented“ Geschichtlichf-Statistiche Darstellung der Chilera in Prag“ ( published by JG Calve in 1833)
- demographic data – based in on his essay „Resultate und der Gebirts Sterbevehaltnise“, published in 1830 in the magazine Muzejnik (the Journal of the Czech Museum) in which he compiled - for the first time in the country’s history - mortality tables for the Czech Republic for the period 1800-1828
- At different levels explains the principle of different types of life insurance, anuity, annuities, tontines, widows, orphans and other provident institutions, and discusses the use of certain indicators, mortality tables and other statistical methods for these institutions operate.
From 1820 he worked as an urban „ranlékař“ (an outdated term meaning both anatomist and surgeon) at Upper New Town in Prague.
From 1824 he worked as a physicist in the Old Town.
During the following years, he worked in Prague as a policeman and as a medical examiner.
After 1848 (treating the injured from the Whitsun uprising) won even multiple citizenship, the capital of the Czech kingdom Prague.
Also worth mentioning is an attempt to save the life of Count Kinsky, or realized design of the park at Lobkowitz castle.

The cache itself
Tato keš je součástí relativně krátké Pseudo Power Trail, tvořící samostatný okruh podél cesty v okolí Nelahozevsi-Lešan. Proč zrovna „pseudo“? Inu, nechtělo se nám sestavit klasickou power trail, na které se jen sbírají body, ale chtělo se nám cestu trochu oživit některými, ne úplně jednoduchými úkryty a hlavně ukázat, kde všude dřív existovaly hezké procházky. Takže určitě stojí zato vždy si všimnout obtížnosti.
Už z tohoto textu je jasné, že odlov je možný i v noci (terén je pořád téměř stejný), ale rozhodně ho u některých keší nedoporučujeme – nejde ani tak o to, že by šikovný kačer někam spadl (to by ostatně mohl i ve dne), ale spíš o některé obtížnější kousky. Nezapomeňte, že se pohybujete v přírodě – stromy, elektrické vedení apod. mají vliv na přesnost zaměření.
Odlov je vhodný pěšky, případně i na horském kole – s kočárkem jedině terénním a jen pro silné a zdatné jedince, raději jen za sucha. No, od čeho jsou atributy, že?
Rozhodně si nezapomeňte vzít tužku na zápis do logbooku – však to znáte.

This cache is part of relatively short Pseudo Power trail forming a separate circut along a path near Lešany Nelahozeves.Why the „ pseudo“? Well, we didn’t want to build a traditional power trail that only collects points with easy hiding points but we wanted to revive a little path and to show nice strolls from the past. So it’s always worth to notice the difficulty.
It’s already clear from the text that the hunt is possible even at night (the terrain is still almost the same), but we certainly don’t recommend it – not because that an experienced hunter could fall into something {that is certainly possible even at day light} but it’s because some more difficult stunts. Remember that you are in nature – there are trees, power lines, etc. and these affect the accuracy of focus.
The caching is suitable on foot or even mountain bike – if with a stroller then with an all-terrain one only, and only for strong and fit individuals when it’s dry outside. What for the attributes, isn’t it?
Definitely do not forget to take a pen to write in the logbook – as you know.
