Staticbird11: Drove by and noticed that the entire area has been excavated. I wonder who is building what here!? I always thought it was sad that no one could maintain the theater. Thanks to all who stopped by. (Btw, the cache was under a flat rock, right by the metal sign that was here)

Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the site of an abandoned Drive-In theater halfway between Union City and Corry, PA.   I pass by this site often on my way from Erie to Corry and have always thought there should be a cache here.....  After thinking this for years, I decided to hide one finally!

The theater at this location was opened in the summer of 1952 and closed in 2010.  The marquee, screen and snack-bar still stand. (EDIT:: They were taken down in 2017!)  Despite the cache name, there is no need to go onto the property as the hide is along the road and you can "park" right next to it!   This should be a quick grab!  Thanks for visiting and please respect the area!
