Teakettle Junction is a Death Valley tradition that predates "geocaching" by a hundred years.
I can't take any credit for this cache. Some early explorer of the area left a teakettle at this junction and over the years others have added their own. The site is 20 miles south of Ubehebe Crater on a sometimes rough dirt road. Can be driven without 4 wheel drive if you're careful. Take your time and don't drive fast! I punctured a tire on my 4x4 pickup on a sharp rock. If you get to the "cache" be sure to continue on another 6 miles and explore around the Racetrack. Is facinating place. Pictures and more info on my webpage. [This cache information may be used/copied/distributed freely for any purpose whatsoever without prior consent of the cache owner.]
