The first catholic church in Northfleet was built in 1867 and dedicated to Our Immaculate Mother and St Joseph.
It was used as a school during the week and as a church on Sundays.
The church closed in 1932 and is now the Mercy Centre for the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of His Grace.
Parking is available right next to the cache and also right next to what is now the Rainbow Centre, another former religions building - Northfleet Wood Street Methodist Chapel which was opened in 1875.
Prize for FTF.
Congratulations to Froggie25 and Joeytjap for FTF.
