Welcome to The White Rose!
This is series of 18 traditional and 2 bonus caches covering just under 5 miles between Gosport and Fareham in Hampshire.
If you would like to complete as a trail I would suggest the free parking at Fort Brockhurst before #1 (co-ords included) with the end taking you close to Fareham bus station, any of the E1/E2 buses can return you to your car.
This series has many different types of cache though the only tool you will really need (at some) are tweezers! Numbers 1-10 are set alongside the busy A32 so some stealth will be required but numbers 11-17 are set alongside the very picturesque Salterns lake which can get *very* muddy in winter so wellies are recommended :)
Where you are required to cross the main road (after #1, after #3 and after #17) caches have been placed near pedestrian crossings/underpass as the A32 can be a fast busy road. There is a playpark between 15 and 16 for any accompanying geokids* and some large green spaces from 14 to 16 for geodogs!
*After #11 the path can be muddy and would be difficult for a pushchair/wheelchair in winter or wet months
Some of the caches have a code in, make a note of the numbers, you will need them to work out the position of the bonus caches :)
Most of all ~ ENJOY
#14 ~ Tweezers are required
