A quick and easy virtual cache you can do from the car. Cachers interested in Civil War history and John Brown might find it most interesting.
On this location in 1859, John Brown, other abolitionists and some freed slaves, were involved in a battle (and were victorious) without firing a shot. This location was a stop on the Underground Railroad. On the way to this site you will pass a historic marker that provides more information (and signs leading to it). At the site, there is a small mockup of a cabin and some silhouettes.
