I’m not a seasoned shopper so a few hours of shopping are more than enough for me . Here are the details of my last shopping trip.

Upon starting the car, I noticed that it was low on gas so I first stopped at Mobil on the corner of El Camino and Halford Way in Santa Clara. As I was filling up the car I wondered why only a few out-of-state refineries make California gas and why California refineries are always undergoing maintenance/repair when oil/gas prices are low? A “click” of the gas pump handle signaled that my tank was full and that I would need to ponder this mystery another day.

My next stop was the Costco on Almaden Expy in San Jose. Just like Joe Biden, I flashed my membership card at the door and proceeded to fill up my shopping cart with a few bulk items that would last a year. Lastly I grabbed a chicken for dinner and wondered why does Costco Rotisserie Chicken sell for such a low price and why does it have a Facebook page? Despite trying all the samples, I couldn’t pass up the $1.50 hotdog and soda combo as I walked out the door.

Costco may have everything but they didn’t have a Star Wars BB-8 Droid so I stopped at Target near 680 and Landess Ave in San Jose. I was amazed to find one on the shelf but it was no surprise that the required batteries were not included. At the checkout, as I reluctantly inserted my credit card into the reader, I wondered why despite the previous data breach that Target does not accept NFC as a form of payment? I didn’t think about this too long since I was more excited to play with BB-8 than the security of my transaction.

The last stop that I made was at Mattress Firm in McCarthy Ranch. The first mattress I tried was too firm and the second mattresses that I tried was too soft but the third mattress was just right. Apparently all the shopping made me tired since I was awakened by a salesperson asking “May I help you?”. I apologized for falling asleep and explained that I was dreaming about all the places that I had been during the day.

I don’t remember if it was part of my dream or not but I think I had an energy shot and hid a cache on the way home. Can you find out?

Cache is sign only. Don't forget to bring your pen.

Enjoy!
