The Martians are coming!

No one would have believed in the early years of the 21st Century, that human affairs were being watched from the timeless worlds of space — that we were being scrutinized, as someone with a microscope studies creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. Few men even considered the possibility of life on other planets; and yet, across the gulf of space, minds immeasurably superior to ours regarded this Earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely, they drew their plans against us.

There is evidence that a Martian cylinder has landed in the woods along the Osprey Trail. From such cylinders, the Martians are able to construct their tripod fighting machines, which can wreak havoc over the surface of the earth. It is your job to locate and neutralize this cylinder, which can be done by removing, signing, and then replacing the logsheet where you found it, thus overriding the Martian orders contained therein.

To reach the cylinder, you must arrive at the starting point after dark and follow the trail of glowing markers until you reach a set of markers that point you in the direction of Martian cylinder. Be careful! The cylinder's landing site is surrounded by three, 3-eyed tripods. Once you have discovered all three, you know your objective lies between them.
