Geocache Description:

This is the second in a string of Movie/TV related caches. Have changed this from a five part multi to a four part as one locale was in Westchester. I'll leave it as a fun bonus. My first, "Cache-A-Movie" GC232C was an actual cache. This one is a Multi-stage Virtual which hits some interesting new as well as nostalgic locales.

Cache A Movie Redux

This cache consists of locales that have been used in various movie/TV shoots.

The cache can be logged this way:

Visit the four locations that I have posted coordinates for & post a picture of each. IN ADDITION, you must email me 1 fact about each that you could only get from actually visiting the site. In order to make it a little more interesting, I have left the choice of fact up to you. However, it must be a fact that you could only get from a physical visit to the site. No addresses off of Mapquest, pictures off the Internet, etc. Fact is up to you.

My sites are as follows:

1. The House used for the exterior in the TV series "All In the Family".

N 40 42.773 / W 73 51.636

2. The exterior location used in the climax of "Men In Black I" where the alien cockroach fights to reach his ship. Also the same park as the Unisphere which was used in literally hundreds of movies/TV shows.

N 40 44.636 / W 73 50.712

3. The corner of the street Toby Maquire ran across on his way home after he has the fight at school in "Spiderman 1". Also used in the opening of the TV series "King of Queens" with the vegetable market.

N 40 43.111 / W 73 50.445

4. The MacDowell's (really a Wendy's) used in Eddie Murphy's "Coming to America"
The Restaurant is currently gone and the site is under construction. The geo co-ords are still valid though.
N 40 44.232 / W 73 52.682

Bonus : The House used for the exterior in the '60s TV series "Please Don't Eat The Daisies". Based on the 1960 movie staring Doris Day, David Niven, Janis Page, and Spring Byington.

N 40 54.966 / W 73 44.959
