The Henty Arms is in the village of Ferring, part of the Worthing area, 3 miles west of the town along the A259. The pub is a short walk from Goring-by Sea station, on the 700 bus route and 5mins south from the A27; it has a large car park. It serves a selection of food until 9pm, please check out the menu here.
Would you please indicate on your "Will Attend" log whether you intend to eat, so that I can give the pub a rough idea of numbers.
These events are informal gathering of Geocachers and are scheduled to take place on the third Wednesday of each month, at different locations across Sussex. They are a great way to meet fellow cachers and share your adventures, or even pick up a few hints or tips over a friendly drink. You will be able to swap and discover Travel Bugs and Geocoins and get help with some of those tricky puzzles. If you've never been to an event before you'll be made very welcome, whether you are from Sussex or elsewhere.
The evening will be hosted by Karen (aka "Erynluin"), who will be in attendance from around 6.30 pm. If you are feeling a bit shy, you can identify me by the blue ribbon I'll wear in my hair for this event - find me and I'll make sure to greet you! We are quite a friendly bunch and always like to meet new cachers (and old ones!).
Each event is hosted by a different cacher or caching team. Anyone who feels the urge to host one of these events, please contact "Tootsie's Trackers" (aka Paul) through his profile.
If you are a "newbie" or never attended an Event before and would like to know more, please contact me through my geocaching profile.
