I love football and over the years, there have been some truly great games. These are the games that you still talk about years after the last whistle has been blown. They are games to remember.
The Kick was a game that my dad used to talk about the day after Christmas. As a result of that game, the NFL added 15 feet to the uprights of all goal posts, in what has become known as "the Chandler extension." One of my favorite kickers played for the Dolphins and had his name go down in infamy during the Garo's Gaffe game. Speaking of the Dolphins, I'm sure nobody gets tired of Miami's Perfect Season, right? Roger Staubach beat the Vikings using a well known pass called The Hail Mary. The Vikings' last great season was ended by Gary Anderson's Missed Kick The Packers lost during a last second simultaneous catch called The Fail Mary. The Packers lost again(!) on a 4th and 26 play. The Heidi Game ensured that an NFL game will never get interrupted by a TV show or movie ever again. The Packers squeaked out a victory in The Instant Replay Game. My favorite play of all time from one of my favorite childhood teams was The Immaculate Reception
