Geocache Description:

A quick cache along a nice boardwalk and trail through a lowland forest.

This cache is hidden in the North Carolina National Estuarine Research Reserve near the Village of Corolla, in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The cache is accessable via a nice boardwalk which winds thorugh the forest to the sound on the West side of the island and then a easy nature trail off of the boardwalk. This cache began life with a beachball, swim goggles, a light stick, post cards, OBX magnet, and an OBX keychain. Because the area is a research reserve, please respect any scientific equipment or markings you may find. WATCH OUT FOR TICKS!!
