Cet arbre originaire de la côte ouest des Etats-Unis a été planté vers 1870. Il est composé de six troncs et sa hauteur est estimé à 39m.

In Castets one can admire a truly remarkable tree, one of the oldest coast redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens) in France.
The species is native to the Pacific coast of North America, and this particular tree was planted here around 1870. It has six trunks and its estimated height is 39m.
