Geocache Description:

The Cache is not at this location
This Cache can only be found at night
To find this cache you will need to gather information to work out the co-ordinates to the start of a 'firetack' marker trail, these will lead you to the Cache

At the given co-ordinates you will find a sign, on the sign is the name of whom officially opened the reserve. The sum of the full name converted to numbers e.g. a=1, b=2 ,c=3 will give you a two digit number x,y

insert into the following to find the Trail head
S 31 38.3(x + 16) E 116 39.7(x * y + 47)

Using your GPS navigate to the trail head (if using the phone app a waypoint can be added if your still on the navigation page)
Once you arrive shine your torch around until you find the first 'Firetack' (make sure to keep your torch at eye level as these reflect light straight back to the source of the light).
The 'Firetack' reflectors follow a trail that is easy to walk, follow these until the last marker where you will find the cache. To help minimise non-Geocachers stumbling across the cache I have situated the cache slightly off trail. To find it you will reach a tree on the trail that has two 'Firetacks' next to each other, when you reach them shine your torch around until you see a 'Firetack' marker off trail a few meters, This is the location of the Cache.

The Cache is a 50cal ammo tin loaded with the usual pencil and logbook, plus a FTF prize and some fun.

Enjoy
