The ferry ceased operation on May 5, 2011 when the nearby Audubon Bridge was opened, allowing direct and immediate travel between St. Francisville and New Roads. There should be plenty of parking but muggles may be present, especially sightseers and those seeking angling opportunities along the river, so use stealth if necessary. Watch for leaves of three!!.
