This cache will enable those that don't mind an early morning start to head up Cannon Point to witness a lovely 2016 sunrise. From here you will see the sun come over Mt Climie - another great Upper Hutt caching location.
You'll need to head up in the dark - make sure you have a torch for this early morning stroll.
Sunrise is due at 5:56 am that day. The senior Leprechaun will at the Trig from 5:45-6:15 am. Depending how Junior is with getting up early he may also be there too.
As at 5 Jan, the weather forecast is for showers. If on 8 Jan the weather is looking to be terrible for the event then it will be moved to somewhere sheltered. Keep an eye on this page before you head out.
