Welcome to the Highlands East Howler BONUS cache!
The Highlands East Howler is a collection of 99 puzzle caches nestled in the
Geocaching Capital of Canada creating our howling wolf.
The cache is not at the posted coordinates.
You will have to visit the 99 caches that make up the Highlands East Howler GeoArt series. (see bookmark on the right side of the page). Inside each cache is a bonus number. Record the bonus numbers as you find them and use the calculations below to determine the final coordinates of this cache.
We request that before logging the find on this cache, you find and log the 99 caches of the Highlands East Howler.
The above calculations will take you to the Stage 1 Virtual.

Putting these coordinates into the checker will give you the final location.
To determine the parking area and trail head, subtract .044 from the North coordinate and add .009 to the West virtual coordinate. YOU WILL NEED THIS WAYPOINT!
To determine the Final location without the geochecker, add .026 to the North coordinate and subtract .040 from the West virtual coordinate. PLEASE go to the final by way of the virtual.
