Laminated guides for the walk can be borrowed from The Silver Plough, or the dispenser in front of the Village Hall. Please return them after enjoying the walk. This LINK will take you to the Pitton and Farley website from where you can download a guide to this walk and others in the area. The walk is also waymarked with distinctive white discs, in addition to the Wiltshire Footpath discs.
From Cut End, continue to follow Clarendon Way. After passing a farm, and then searching for the path that dives behind the row of cottages, you would chance across this specimen Leylandii, so we named this cache as a tribute to the car voted the worst produced in the UK, and one of the last from British Leyland. However, like the British car industry, it has now been culled.
The cache is in a new location cosseted by Hazel on the left hand side of the path, with some remnants of the Leylandii as stickoflague.
Having done the necessary, please make sure you prep' the cache box for the next client - lid securely “clicked”, and suitably camouflaged by Leylandii. We congratulate you on completing the series, and would like to join you, if only virtually, for light refreshment at The Silver Plough. Cheers!
