Geocache Description:

The Glomach Falls, Scotland - the highest waterfall in the UK.

Fantastic hiking, but not for the faint hearted. Getting to this cache will involve a ten or twelve mile hike from the nearest vehicle access, but it's certainly worth the effort.Great opportunity to combine a good hike with superb views. Not too many people attempt this hike, so you may be on your own for the entire trip. If approaching from the southwest, start at the visitor centre at Morvich to the east of Loch Duich. If you are a fit hiker, the route is quite manageable. Total return distance is about 12 miles. Alternatively, approach from the northwest starting at Camas-Luinie. A slightly shorter route (10 miles) but much more challenging. You will definitely need a good head for heights to take on this route. The real challenge is to get a good photograph of the falls (very difficult) and upload to the site. Beware - getting to this cache is a challenge. Have a wild one ... PLEASE HELP - age has caught up with us, and we can no longer reach the cache. Can the next visitor please renew the cache box and log book? A plastic box the size of a thick paperback book would be ideal. Thanks in advance, HP.
