Wherigo je narejen po Sovjetski digitalni igri тайны океана iz leta 1989.
Originalna igra
"Skrivnosti oceana" je bila druga najboljša igra (po "Ну, погоди!" (1986)) narejena v Sovjetskem zavodu Электроника. Cilj igre je potop v morje do zaklada ter od tam prinesti čim večji del zaklada nazaj na čoln. Pri tem pa je ovira hobotnica, ki straži zaklad. Ta poskuša z lovkami ujeti potapljača ter ga pojesti. Igre je konec, ko izgubiš 3 življenja. Več o igri lahko vidiš na YouTube
Kartuša
Hobotnico smo zamenjali z drugo, bolj realno grožnjo. Najslabše kar se ti lahko zgodi pod vodo, je to da porabiš ves kisik. Tako imaš v igri samo 60 sekund za iskanje zaklada. V tem času se moraš vrniti nazaj na čoln, drugače izgubiš življenje. Po vrnitvi na čoln dobiš 1 točko za vsako sekundo preživeto pri zakladu. Število potopov ni omejeno. Igro končaš po tem ko pridobiš 500 točk. Če izgubiš 3 življenja, je igre konec in začeti moraš ponovno od začetka.
Igro lahko igraš kjer koli želiš. Najti moraš samo vsaj 30 metrov prostora ter po tem slediti navodilom iz igre.

Po končanju kartuše vpiši svojo izkušnjo tudi tu. Za odklep vpiši kodo, ki jo najdeš v inventarju v aplikaciji po zaključku igre. Če igraš v skupini vpiši s kom si igral.

Wherigo inspired by Soviet digital game тайны океана from 1989.
Original game
"The octopus" used to be the second favourite game (after "Ну, погоди!" (1986)) made by soviet company Электроника. The goal of the game is to dive to the treasure, grab as much as you can and bring it to the boat. The octopus is the real problem. It elongates the tentacles and tries to eat the careless diver. The game is over after loosing 3 lives. We spent many hours with this game... See YouTube for more.
Cartridge
We replaced the danger of being eaten by the octopus with the real threat. The worst what can happen to you underwater is that you use all your oxygen. That's why you always have only 60 seconds for the treasure hunt. You have to reach the boat in this time limit, otherwise you loose life. After returning to boat, you gain 1 point for every second spent at the treasure. The number of dives is not limited. You finish the game by gaining 500 points. If you loose 3 lives, the game is over and you have to start again.
You can play anywhere you want. Find some space at least 30 m wide. Then follow the instruction in the game.
