Emirate Flag Pole Series : Fujairah Traditional Geocache

In 2012, H.H Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, issued a decree that every one of the 7 Emirates should have its own flagpole.

Thanks to this decree, each Emirate now has its own flagpole - each at least 120m in height.

The series consists of 7 caches (6 traditional, 1 letterbox) plus a bonus cache - all located within the UAE. By completing the series, you will have travelled to all of the Emirates of the UAE. The 7 main caches are all located at Flag Poles erected to celebrate National Day:

GC62QA8 - Ras Al Khaimah

GC62QAN - Umm Al Quwain

GC62QB0 - Abu Dhabi

GC62QB7 - Fujairah

GC62QB9 - Sharjah

GC62QBC - Dubai

GC62QBF - Ajman

GC62QC2 - Bonus

All main caches are small or micro sized due to the high-muggle areas in which they are placed. All have a bonus code on the container which, once all have been collected, can be used to find the bonus cache. Please inform if any codes are found to be missing so that they can be replaced.

In placing this series, we discovered that each flagpole had a different "feel" about it - some being bustling locations whilst others being quieter. It is hoped that geocachers enjoy this series as much as we enjoyed placing it!
