Fort Wilkins Historic State Park is hosting it's 2nd Fall Harvest Fest, an ALL DAY Event starting with it's 9th Annual Geocaching Event. The Festivities begin at 8:30 AM for Geocaching Registration at the Picnic Shelter in the Day Use Area of the Park. Geocachers will be able to find several temporary caches of varying difficulty that are placed at historically, geologically, or naturally significant sites. A fun day for the whole family. A Potluck Luncheon will be hosted at the Picnic Shelter at 1:00 PM, the luncheon is open to anyone in the Park and we hope that Geocachers will take a little time off from their hunting (Please bring a dish to pass but it is NOT required).
Geocaching ends at 2:30 PM with a campfire and social time to tell stories and of course a drawing for prizes from local businesses. Geocachers will receive a ticket at the time of registration for the drawing.
