This is located in a nice spot near Glastonbury. The trail head is
off of Hill Street. There are a lot of roots and rocks in the path,
but it is well-trodden. After you pass under the power lines the
path forks at the edge of the woods. Take the single-blue blaze
trail that veers to the left. Don't Forget Mosquito repellent.
The Cache is in a small Ammo Container.We have placed decks of
cards, a ruler, postcards, sunblock chapstick, a candle, 35mm film
and Multiple old coins in this stash. It is located near an open
area where you could take a break, have a picnic, and on a clear
day see the Hartford Skyline. If you are up for a longer hike,
continue along the trail to Garnet Ledge. You can see the Garnet
formations in this boulder, and find small garnets that have washed
loose with the rain.
