A Bit of History

Hango Hill is an ancient place of execution. The most famous execution was that of William Christian or better known as Illiam Dhone to the Manx people. He was executed by firing squad, and not by hanging as the place name suggests, on January 2, 1663 for his part in the Manx uprising against the Derby family who held the Island for the Royalists

The Cache

Take care when walking down to the beach, especially with young children and high tides. Thanks

Happy hunting :-)
