After leaving 14, you will continue to follow the Purple Trail. In order to not get lost as there are multiple spurs that come off the main trail that all have purple blazes, stick to the trail that is closest to the creek. This will give you the most direct approach to this cache. As you are approaching the cache, when your arrow takes a sharp 90 degree angle from the trail, you will need to bushwhack to this one. You will need to perform small creek crossing to reach this one, and depending on where you cross, there is a chance the creek bed will be dried up. Climb the other side of the creek and begin your search for this one.
Please note that Deer Lakes is only open from 8 AM to Dusk, year round. This means there is no night caching in the park. Please abide by this so there are no problems.
