Geocache Description:

You need to make your way to the Mountain Road 1 mile north of Blue Hill village. The Mountain Road connects route 15 with route 172. The trail head leading to the cache is located on that road at N44 25.692 and W68 35.415. Parking is available on both sides of the road. You will be following the Osgood Trail. It is a well marked trail approximately 1 mile in length to the summit. Once you have located the trail head there is no need to have your GPS on until you reach the top. Cache is a 4qt plastic cylinder with a yellow top. Contents include a rope bone for the dog in your life, fingernail clippers, light up smily face pen, glow in the dark stick, ruler, trisonic personal safety light, camping cutlery set, and the traveling furby from Fort Point Delight Cache. Please sign the logbook and let us know what you think. The fire tower has been deemed unsafe since the last windstorm we had. If it is still there when you arrive please don't climb it. For those interested in logging in benchmarks there is one located near the base of the firetower.
