Suolijärven hiihtoladun/pyöräilyreitin lisäksi Suolijärven rantaa kiertää luontopolku joka välillä nousee ylös rinteeseen, välillä hipoo järven rantaa. Polulta avautuu useita kauniita näkymiä Suolijärvelle. Jyrkimmistä kohdista löytyy tukevat portaat. Polku on erityisesti kävelijöiden ja polkujuoksijoiden suosiossa.

Kätkö on lapsiystävällinen suurimman osan vuodesta ja polulta sivussa jotta loggaaminen rauhassa olisi helpompaa. Jäiseen aikaan noudata erityistä varovaisuutta kulkiessasi kätkölle. Logatessasi kätköä varo pudottamasta camon pieniä osia. Etenkin talvella niiden löytäminen voi olla vaikeaa. Camo avautuu parhaiten puristamalla kantta yhtä aikaa ylhäältä ja alhaalta. Logattuasi varmista että kansi on kunnolla kiinni. Kätköllä on maastosta johtuen vaikea saada tarkkaa GPS fiksiä, mutta koordinaatit vievät ainakin lähelle.
A scenic footpath with plenty of nice views circles the Suolijärvi lake in addition to the skiing tracks/bicycle route. In places the path is right at the shoreline or even on the lake, while some of the stretches climb higher up on the cliffs. The steepest climbs have sturdy stairs. The path is particularly favoured by walkers and trail runners.

The cache is child-friendly for most parts of the year, and "off the beaten path" to enable easy logging. Be extra careful when approaching the cache during the icy season! When logging the cache, be careful not to drop the small parts of the camo. Finding them again may be difficult, particularly during the winter. The camo opens best by squeezing the top and bottom of the cover simultaneously. Once you have logged the cache, make sure the cover snaps into place. Due to the terrain, it is difficult to get an accurate GPS fix at the cache. The given coordinates may not be entirely accurate, but will at least get you close.
