The second cache I placed out at Thousand Hills State Park. My daughter and I placed this microcache down by the lake. This is an easy one to get to with a concrete path that leads right to it. A wheel chair could get really close but probably can't reach the cache itself. It is a microcache so BYOP. So take your fishing pole and drop in a line as you look for the cache. There were also 10 or so robin nests in the vicinity with lots of baby birds chirping away. You will not have to disturb them to get the cache. The info below comes from the state park's website. The cache was placed with permission of the state park.
Thousand Hills State Park:
The cool waters of Forest Lake provide the centerpiece for Thousand Hills State Park, whose woody shores and broad savannas recall a time when northern Missouri was far less developed. The lake offers fishing, swimming and boating. The park offers hiking, mountain biking, and abundant opportunities to see wildlife. An interpretive shelter helps visitors understand the petroglyphs left behind by the area’s inhabitants more than 1,500 years ago. The park also offerscampsites and cabins for overnight stays.

- Bullfrogs and green frogs may be taken during the statewide season, but only by hand, hand net, gig, longbow or hook and lines.
