Kaštel Baška
Nalazite se na području nekadašnjeg kaštela Baška, jednog od četiri stara kaštela otoka Krka. Danas su ostale samo ruševine. Kaštel Baška bio je smješten na brijegu na širem području oko crkve sv. Ivana. Kaštel se posebno razvio dolaskom Hrvata na ovo područje. Mlečani su ga spalili 1380. godine.
Napomena:
Izbjegavajte planinarenje po otoku po jakom suncu. Idite na izlet po oblačnom vremenu. Ili rano ujutro. I ponesite si dosta vode. Gore nema pitke vode.

Baška castle
You are in the area of remains of former Baška castle (fortified town), one of four fortified towns on the island of Krk at that time. Today only its ruins remain. Baška castle was located on this hill, on the wider area around the church of St. John the Baptist. The town developed most when Croatians came into this area. Venetions burned down the town in year 1380.
Note:
Avoid hiking on the island in bright sunlight. Go on a trip on a cloudy day. Or early in the morning. And bring plenty of water. There is no drinking water up there.
