ANOTHER CASE!

Cache is NOT at posted coordiantes, but is pretty close.

As most of you know, in my former career, I was a homicide detective for the Solano County Sheriff's department. We sometimes got to work with the FBI, which was fascinating. I even got to work with the famous agent, Cliff Knowles a few times. I don't like to talk about all the gruesome cases I worked, but there's one that has always haunted me.  Can you help me solve it?

I was working the night shift, and we had just received a call for a possible shooting. At the scene, we found the victim--still alive, but just barely, as he had been gutshot. The victim kept on trying to tell me something. I tried to listen, but I couldn't understand what he meant.

This is still a "cold case," but I've decided to review it again.  I think there might be a clue somewhere, but I don't know where to look. Can you help me?
