To get this cache, you will need to begin your hike from the west side of Mount Bierstadt. Wherigo begins at parking; not on summit. Due to the Wilderness Area, the cache is hidden west of Guanella Pass. Use posted parking. Hiking to the summit is required to find it, so I encourage cache owners of challenge caches to allow use of posted coordinates instead of final coordinates, but it is your decision. Check the status of the Guanella Pass Scenic Byway
To do this Wherigo, download the cartridge HERE! We did a beta test online and onsite and everything worked great. Please let me know if there are any issues. The zones are big, and I kept the cartridge simple. Make sure you have a fully charged battery, and/or spare battery/portable charger. I put my phone in airplane mode and saved/closed the cartridge while hiking to save battery life. BE SURE to save after you unlock each zone as a safety net. Have fun! There are also some great waymarks to do in the area as well.
