Nestled in the highlands of Garibaldi Provincial Park, is this cache. It's a park known for it's stunning scenery, glacial blue lakes, and majestic mountain peaks.
It's important to note that this is probably one of the most remote caches I have placed in this park, it is on a marked trail, but rather marked with flagging tape instead of the common diamond-shaped red, yellow, or orange provincial park markers. If you are adventurous, head up to Mount Price or Clinker Peak. There you will be greeted with a magnificent view of the Tantalus Range to the west, Garibaldi Lake and the Black Tusk to the north, and Glaciers to the east.
This scuba container is located at a view that overlooks Garibaldi Lake, it is a really blue lake, like a blue energy drink. You will find the container in a typical fashion for this park. Though this trail isn't used as often as others in this park, please do your absolute best at hiding this cache back well. It not only protects it from the rare muggle, but also keeps it safe from harsh weather (though this is a pretty strong cache).
As always, this is a park that can be very unforgiving. Please wear proper footwear, I shouldn't even need to say this. Bring all necessary emergency equipment, first-aid kit, emergency blanket, FLASHLIGHT, bear bell, emergency flare (if you have one), and most importantly: making sure someone knows where you are. Play it safe folks.
