Mestský park
Mestský park sa budoval od roku 1884. Kompozičnú os tvorila lipová aleja smerujúca z južnej strany námestia, kde stála kamenná vodná nádrž, ku kostolu a priečne komunikácie pozdĺž kostola a radnice. Ústredným prvkom parku bol pomník cisárovnej Alžbety Bavorskej – Sisi, ku ktorému sa zbiehali chodníky lemované zeleňou. Na jeho mieste od r. 1939 stojí pomník Jána Chalupku, autora satirickej komédie „Kocúrkovo...“. Roku 2007 pribudol pomník Martina Rázusa. V roku 2011 prešiel park spolu s námestím rekonštrukciou. Brezniansky park je jediným historickým mestským parkom na hornom Pohroní. V roku 2010 bol vyhlásený za národnú kultúrnu pamiatku.
Ku keške
V minulosti v mestskom parku v Brezne bola založená keška, ktorá je už v archíve. Rozhodli sme sa založiť novú kešku, pretože historický mestský park si ju určite zaslúži. Dúfame, že sa vám bude keška páčiť.
Aby ste našli kešku, potrebujte zistiť správne údaje na 6 zastávkach. Vždy si zaznačte správnu odpoveď a následne doplňte do vzorca, ktorý predstavuje finálne súradnice. Samotné lúštenie a hľadanie finálneho umiestnenia kešky vám zaberie približne 30 minút.

Welcome in the town Brezno!
This multi cache will take you through the historical town park which belongs to the dominating feature of the central part of the town. There are several interesting places, monuments and memorials.
Town park
The construction of the town park started in 1884. Its main element was the statue of the Empress Elisabeth of Austria – Sissi. Since 1939 the memorial of the dramatist Ján Chalupka stands on its place. In 2007 the memorial of the writer Martin Rázus was added to this location. In 2011 the town park was reconstructed together with the square. Brezno town park is unique historical park in the region of Upper Pohronie. Its value was confirmed in 2010 when it was declared the national cultural heritage monument.
To the cache
In the past there was a cache hidden in the town park but this cache is in the archive. We have decided to establish a new cache because the town park is definitely worth of the one. We hope that you will enjoy the places and the cache itself.
If you want to find the cache, you have to find out the information on 6 stages. After each stage you should write down the correct answer and then fill it into the pattern which represents the final coordinates. The walking through stages and the final location of cache is an activity for about half an hour.
