[LAT] Vācu mācītājs Ernsts Gliks, dzīvodams Alūksnē, paveica vienu no sava mūža nozīmīgākajiem darbiem — latviešu valodā iztulkoja Bībeli. Par godu šim notikumam, Gliks mācītājmuižas parkā iestādīja divus ozolus, kas zaļo joprojām. Blakus tiem atrodas piemiņas akmens ar uzrakstu “Glika ozoli. 1685–1689”, kas simbolizē Vecās Derības un Jaunās Derības pārtulkošanas laiku. Akmens uzstādīts 1985. gadā par godu Bībeles pirmās daļas iztulkošanas trīssimtgadei. Mūsdienās Glika ozoli ir viens no Alūksnes simboliem. Ik gadu vasaras sākumā šajā vietā notiek Glika dienas — piemiņas pasākumi ievērojamajam vācu mācītājam un viņa veikumam. [ENG] Specially protected nature territories This is one of the rare cases in which we know precisely when the trees were planted. It was in 1685 and 1689, and they were planted by the priest of the local congregation, Ernest Johann Glück (1654-1705) in commemoration of the fact that he had completed the translation into Latvian of the Old Testament and the New Testament respectively.
