Daugirdo amfiteatras (Daugirdas amphitheatre) Traditional Cache

Amphitheatre of the old Kaunas pier erected in 2008 by businessmen and Kaunas city municipality. This is a unique place for Kaunas people. There are concerts, artistic events, celebrations, cinema sessions and various projects near the amphitheater, and there can be seated about 1,100 people. The old pier in Nemunas near the Vytautas Church was erected several hundred years ago. Sailboats were sailing here, followed by steamboats. From this place, ships were transported to other cities, as well as sightseeing tours were organized. Lately ships from Kulautuva and Zapyškis are also sailing from this marina. The old pier is loved by newlyweds, after the marriage ceremony they are shooting here. Various events, one of the biggest "Hanza Dienoss" and "Joninės", take place on the Nemunas coast.
