St Joseph Catholic Church is located in the centre of Peasedown St John with some amazing views just over the road. The building was completed in 1989, after closure of their previous building. The church community built and financed their current premises themselves, without any help from the diocese.
The previous premises had also been a cinema and retail site.
St Joseph's parishioners joined together with members of the other churches in Peasedown St John to hold the Pentecost Parade, where their was hymns, music and banners as they paraded down the high street. This was followed by an open air worship and hog roast.
