The church has a main entrance on Farm Street, but it can be accessed also by the gardens behind the nearby Grosvenor Chapel. (Church Micro 7907)
The gardens, Mount Street Gardens are built on a former burial grounds.
The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Farm Street, also known as just Farm Street Church, is a Roman Catholic parish church run by the Society of Jesus in Mayfair
The church was intended to be larger and seat 900 persons, but this preoved too expensive, and so the church was built with a capacity of just over half of that.
Also due to the limited area in which the church was built, it was oriented North/South
The church style is decorated gothic and the front of the church, towards Farm Street is inspired by that of Beauvais Cathedral.
The church was remodelled in 1951 after damage sustained by bombing during WW2
