I Can Jump Puddles Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

kangadrew72: Because of the pandemic, many caches became
unmanageable in the time
needed to race out to them and I have not been able to
justify the time to keep this cache going.
I know you may be sad that this cache,
like many of it’s partners is going, but
sometimes it is an old cache that makes way for a new one.
Until next we meet on the caching trail, have an
extra special time caching. KD.

Geocache Description:

Located just north of the Eltham township this cache is in Alan Marshall Reserve.  A short distance from the cache is a small children's playground, great for the geokids to run to and play in.

This park is named after Alan Marshall, the renowned Australian author of book I Can Jump Puddles (after which the cache is named).

Alan was born in 1902, and died in 1984.  He contracted polio at age 6, and his experiences formed the basis of his best selling book.

Alan lived in the Eltham area from 1955 to 1981, and contributed greatly to the artistry and literay values of the area.  His book Pioneers and Painters, in 1971 was a celebration of 100 years of Eltham and its shire.

The cache is a small tube attached to branch at head height. Please be gentle

There is a special FTF trackable and a Travel Bug included along with some other goodies - you know what to do!

Congratulations to "atsmug" on FTF

Please BYO pen until I can find some that will fit in this size cache
