Important information before you start: One of the stages (E2) is only accessible during the regular opening hours of the faculty, that is from Monday to Friday (during the semester also on Saturday). You have to go inside the building to gather the necessary information.
Here is what you have to do to find the object of desire:
Unfortunately, I lost the little piece of paper on which I had written down all the exact GPS-coordinates of the different task stages. Because I did not feel like going back and measuring everything all over again, I decided to draw a little map of the area around the faculty building.
In this map the approximate locations of the 6 task stages (A, B, C, D, E1, and E2) are highlighted in red colour. Print out the attached treasure map, download it to your portable GPS or your mobile device, or just memorize it, and walk from stage to stage.
The legend (explanation) under the map tells you what you have to watch out for at the different stages and what kind of calculations you have to do.
Start your treasure hunt at stage A = given header coordinates.
Here is a photo of the treasure map. I must apologize for the low artistic quality of the drawing. Sorry, but I am no Picasso...
Legend:
A = i - o - č + v, search for big sign Univerza v Ljubljani...; only RED words apply!
B = X / Hint: UTB (famous song from RHCP), additional hints see below
C = HA + GS
D = 20.0D.2002; search for Deutscher Bürgermeister (D = number of month)
E1 = Number of all T-shaped light poles in the area outside (between) the two faculty buildings; hint: it is a two-figured number
E2 = Number of all squares in picture at R2.08/09 PLUS number of all squares in picture at R3.69/70
Go inside the FoCaIS building and proceed to R2.08/09 and R3.69/70. At both locations count the number of all squares in the colourful picture hanging on the opposite wall; E2 = sum of both total numbers.
Now fill in the obtained numbers to receive the set of final coordinates:
N 46 03. ABC
E 014 27. DY
Y = E1 + E2 + 46
Happy counting, calculating, and treasure hunting!
